CVTD Providing Transportation to Fair
Logan, Utah (08/12/2010)-Cache Valley Transit District will be providing additional bus service during the Cache County Fair and Rodeo on August 12, 13, and 14. The bus route will loop around the fairgrounds that will provide service approximately every 10 minutes on Thursday, Friday and Saturday from 11 a.m. to 11 p.m.
Todd Beutler of Cache Valley Transit District said “services have gone so well over the past few years, the county and CVTD decided to team up again for this year’s festivities. We feel like this service provides riders with a quick and easy access to the fairgrounds. Since ridership on the buses is already up this summer, CVTD is planning on an increased ridership for this year’s event as well.”
The bus route begins and ends from the Logan Transit Center, 150 E 500 N. and will make stops at the Logan Post Office and Logan Aquatics Center. Designated bus stop signs will indicate these service locations. Services are fare-free and citizens are encouraged to park and ride to the event to help eliminate traffic congestion at the fairgrounds. For more information call 752-BUSS or online at CVTDbus.org.
