CVTD AWARDED RISK MANAGER OF THE YEAR

The Cache Valley Transit District (CVTD) recently received Risk Manager of the Year award from Utah Local Government Trust (ULGT) at the annual meeting held May 21, 2010. Utah Local Governments Trust is licensed in Utah as a public agency insurance mutual. Trust policies are designed specifically for government agencies, including cities, towns, counties, special service districts, and school districts.

Nearly 500 Municipal entities and special service districts were competing for this award. “This is a great privilege to receive this award” said Todd Beutler, General Manager, CVTD. Doug Folsom from ULGT, said “The award is to recognize CVTD for the creative ways they have developed to efficiently meet the safety obligations in the community. ULGT is impressed in the actions of CVTD’s operations for risk management that includes personnel & policy liability, infrastructure liability, and environmental health & safety.”

The Cache Valley Transit District is honored to have received this recognition. Every employee had a significant role in this great accomplishment.
