CVTD TURNS SWEET 16

CVTD is turning SWEET 16!
The CVTD celebrated 16 years of service on April 8, 2008.
Thank you for helping us celebrate this event, it was a huge success.
Many prizes were handed out at random to passengers, and 20 names were picked for the drawing.
Thanks for submitting your funny bus stories, here are a few we received:
Name: LaKiesha
Comments: My first time riding the bus, I was 8, so that was 10 years ago. I got on and I thought that the Stop
Request rope was something that I could hold on to while I was riding, I was on Cliffside and I rode the bus all the
way to the Island Market pulling that rope.
Name: Mikal
Comments: I met my wife just from riding the LTD. My wife has more details than what I just gave. I want to commend
these bus drivers the great work they do especially in the winter time when the roads are bad and for their safe
driving.
Name: Jake
Comments: I started riding the bus and I didn't really know any of the other riders. One morning I happened to sit on
one of the center-facing front seats. There was a gorgeous redheaded woman sitting in the forward facing seat near
me. The bus braked for a railroad crossing and she flew right into my lap. Talk about a way to break the ice. I've
never had a woman fall for me like that. Introductions were then made all around and friendships were established.
Now, when I ride, I'm greeted by more than just the drivers. I'm happy to say that I've met people in my area and
even in my own town that I might not have ever known otherwise.

Comments: I am commenting on the excellent service of the CVTD and the courtesy and respect I received from the many
drivers. I regularly use north, south, 1, 2, 4, 5, 7 as I attend meetings for work, doctors offices and various stores
for shopping. I utilize the Franklin bus morning and night five days a week for work at USU. Thank you for your
service over the last several years.
